Public Service and School Safety Leadership
- Has served Lake County as a Deputy with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and currently holds the position of Chief Deputy.
- Commander- Lake County Sheriff's Office Basic Police Academy with Lakeland community college.
- Extensive experience in public education includes:
- Serving as the School Resource Officer (SRO) for the Riverside Local School District from 2009 to 2014.
- Since 2014, has led a growing division of School Resource Officers in various supervisory roles.
- Architected a program that placed an officer in every school within the district — a model that has since been adopted by numerous school districts across the region.
- Career progression includes leadership roles as:
- Deputy Sergeant
- Lieutenant
- Captain
- Currently oversees 250 public safety personnel as Chief Deputy of the Sheriff’s Office.
